Lisa Senn (McIntyre) has taught all over Calgary, the States and beyond. This will be her third year as a professional with our club. Best known as four time undefeated UCWDC Masters Country Dance Professional World Champion, two time undefeated UCWDC Open Professional World Champion and two time TNN (televised) Country Dance Invitational Champion, Lisa is also a successful ballroom standard and Latin competitor. As a principal dancer and associate choreographer, she toured for two years with the Broadway show "Swing" and co-directed the Bridgeport Connecticut production of the same show. Movie dance credits include "Shall We Dance" and "Brokeback Mountain". Excellent at making dance fundamentals easy to understand and apply, Lisa's classes are always in popular demand.
Bryan Senn has for the past 22 years been teaching International Style Standard & Latin, and American Style Smooth & Rhythm. He provides top level coaching to professionals and amateurs alike. In addition to coaching many top couples, Bryan has been coaching the University of Arizona ballroom dance club for the past 3 years. In those 3 years he has helped elevate the U of A competitive team to many top accomplishments including winning 1st place out of 15 top Universities and colleges at a recent competition. His Competitive career consists of winning the Rising Star Divisions at La Classique De Quebec, San Francisco Open, Challenge of Champions, & Southwest Regional Dance Championships. As well, he was a Semi-finalist in the Open division, and Finalist in the Rising Star division at both the Ohio Star Ball and the United States Dancesport Championships for three years. He looks forward to seeing you in his group classes for a truly fun & unique dance experience.
Alexandra McPherson was thrilled to join the club. An extremely versatile instructor, Alex has trained in almost every style of partner dance. She has competed professionally throughout North America in both American and International styles and was a 2 time Canadian Closed Standard Finalist. In addition to competing, Alex has performed throughout Canada and has made several television appearances. She currently holds her licentiate in both International style Standard and Latin and is a certified judge with the CDF.
